Greetings from the Madison Orchid Growers Guild. You are warmly invited to one of our monthly meetings, held on the third Sunday of each month at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Madison, WI.
We also hope to see you during the first weekend in February at "Orchid Quest". This annual orchid show and sale is one of the largest in the Midwest. Starting in 2025 we are expanding to the Monona Terrace overlookng beautiful Lake Monona in downtown Madison.
If you can grow a houseplant you can grow an orchid. These incredible plants come in many different sizes, shapes, and colors. We are eager to share our local knowledge and experience with new members. Join us today!
ABOUT The ORCHID guild
The Madison Orchid Growers Guild was founded in 1985 as a nonprofit organization affiliated with the American Orchid Society. We are dedicated to educating both members and the public about orchids and their culture. The Guild also promotes the conservation of orchids in their native habitats.

Forming friendships by working together as a social organization. Guild members find pleasure in being with others who share an excitement for the awe and beauty of orchids.
Understanding more about the world's largest flowering families - Orchidaceae. This includes learning how to grow, propagate and preserve orchids through educational activities that enhance our growing abilities.
Nurturing biodiversity, including orchids, by supporting local and international environmental conservation projects. Our efforts to protect Nature nourish the human spirit and promote a general appreciation of orchids through educational opportunities for all.
